YBhg Dato’ Dr. Lukman Ibrahim holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Magna Cum Laude) and a Master of Business Administration from Temple University, Philadelphia, USA. In 2014, he obtained a PhD in Accountancy from MARA University of Technology. He is a Fellow Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), a member of the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants (CPA), a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (C A(M) (MIA), a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors Malaysia (ICDM), and an Adjunct Professor at National University of Malaysia (UKM).
Dato’ Dr. Lukman Ibrahim commenced his career in 1989 with Sun Refining and Marketing in Philadelphia, USA, before joining Automotive Corporation (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd in 1990. In 1991, he joined Proton Berhad, where he established his career over 17 years, with his last appointment being Managing Director of PHN Industry Sdn Bhd, on secondment from Proton. In 2008, he joined DRB-HICOM Berhad as Group Chief Financial Officer and was later promoted to Group Chief Operating Officer in 2011. In 2012, he was entrusted with the position of Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Proton Holdings Berhad, a role he held until 2014.
In 2018, he joined Zaiyadal Group as Group Executive Director, a position he holds to the present day, and additionally serves as a Director at HIS Toyyiba Sdn Bhd.
He holds directorships in all companies within Zaiyadal Group, including Progressive Impact Corporation Berhad and Progressive Impact Technology Sdn Bhd.
